Operation Guide
1. Check Adapter Compatibility
Make sure the pre-installed adapters match your telescope and camera connections. If needed, swap them with the appropriate included adapters.
2. Install the Camera
- Remove the Filter Drawer.
- Loosen the four Camera Adapter Locking Screws.
- Remove the Camera Adapter from the OAG assembly.
- Attach the Camera Adapter to your camera.
- Put the camera assembly back onto the OAG.

- Look through the OAG opening and rotate the camera until the sensor’s long side is aligned with the prism.
- Tighten the four Camera Adapter Locking Screws.
- Check through the OAG opening again and adjust the prism height to avoid blocking the sensor.
3. Set Up Off-Axis Guiding
- Remove the CAA Locking Knob
- Attach the OAG to the telescope.
- Install the guide camera into the guide camera adapter
- Turn on the main camera and focus the main imaging system.
- Turn on the guide camera and use the helical focuser to bring the guide image into focus.
4. Install the Filter
- Pull out the Filter Drawer.
- Install the M48 filter on the Light-In Side of the Filter Drawer.
- Reinsert the Filter Drawer while keeping it pressed against the Light-Out Side of the OAG assembly.
