The camera adapter secured by set screws is used on the following telescope models:
- Ultra-Cat 108 R
- Ultra-Cat 131
- Mighty-Cat 71
- Tighten the CAA Locking Knob securely.
- Loosen the three set screws on the adapter with a 1.5 mm hex key.
- Use the Adapter Wrench to loosen the adapter counterclockwise.
- Keep turning the adapter to remove it.
- Install the replacement adapter.
- Use the Adapter Wrench to tighten the adapter.
- Tighten the three set screws.
Note
Three set screws are integrated into the adapter to control its connection to the CAA rotation mechanism.
- Tightening the screws allows the adapter and CAA to rotate as a single assembly
- Loosening them enables independent removal of the adapter.
