Focus with Bahtinov Mask
Focusing is the most important step in astronomical observation, but it is always difficult and time-consuming. Through the principle of light diffraction by Bahtinov Mask, small light spots can be turned into easily identifiable graphics, making focusing simple and fast.
Step 1
Get ready with all your imaging or visual gears
Step 2
Point the telescope at a bright star
Step 3
Put on the Bahtinov Mask and you will find that the light spot is divided into three intersecting lines
Step 4
Twist the Focuser Knob to move the middle line to the center
Step 5
Take off the mask and your telescope is well focused
Frequent focusing is required when the temperature changes rapidly.
